THOMAS CLARK HESLINGTON
(1824-1911)
Author of "Ripon Spurs" (1893) and many other
papers of historical and archaeological interest.
He was baptised at St Helen's Parish Church,
Aindeby Steeple January 20th 1824 - born in Warlaby, North Yorkshire - Parents: William and Ann (nee Clark) Heslington, Farmer,
of Warlaby Lodge.
Thomas never married but lived at various
addresses in RIPON for most of his life, and was a well known figure there. He died in Ripon on February 24th 1911.
